SEASHELL WEDDING BOUQUETS...

Coming soon to my Etsy Shop will be my "Seashell Wedding Bouquets"  They've been such a hit on Wedding Wire ... so what better time then now, to share them here and in my Etsy Shop then summer time... where seashells are in bloom....

Each bouquet is custom made. Before any Seashells are added I cover the base of the bouquet in  Beach Sand. Then I start adding the seashells, satin flowers, pearls large and small, more ribbon, then some hand crushed seashells..I keep repeating this process until the base is completely covered and the final layer is dry. It's about a two week process...Then I start work on the base...Below I have covered the base in organza ribbon, sheer ribbon and satin champagne ribbon.  Then added more seashells.

BEACH WEDDING CAKE TOPPER

I find it so exciting when upon opening my email I find a surprise picture of one of my Wedding Designs.   Below is my Monogram Wedding Cake Topper, made using Crushed Sea Shells and sitting atop a White Starfish....

CENTERPIECE TABLE NUMBERS

Here's a picture from a recent wedding I worked on.  The bride wanted each of her guest tables to have their own cake as part of their centerpiece. The centerpiece started out with the flower arraignments at the bottom, then in the middle was a crystal cake stand, where upon the top sat the cake and then my silver glittered table numbers......

I loved this idea.  What a great multi task centerpiece!!

I'v also noticed that having a cake at each guest table has become very popular this year.  I like the idea ....how about you?

Custom Personalized Monogram Ring Bearer Pillow

I wanted to post my new  "Custom Ring Bearer Pillow !!!! " You choose the Color Ribbon and Beads. I am So excited about this Pillow...It's so very chic and what a keepsake. Pillow is made from a beautful Linen Fabric. The Custom Monogram is made using Hexagon beads that have a lovely sparkle. The best part about your Pillow is once husband and wife it will also look great laying upon your bed, or in the center of your couch.  Pillow also comes with a very small Satin Ribbon that is attached at each top corner and has been tacked down until after your Wedding Day. All you have to do is just snip the little stitch loose once home from your Honeymoon and your Pillow can be hung from a fancy hook or from a door knob..so you can enjoy it for years to come:)

Monogram measures 1 1/2" by 1 1/2" Depending on the letter
Pillow measures 7" by 8" and is made using a very soft yet durable linen and filled with oh so soft stuffing... If you need a larger size pillow, no problem, beaded monogram can also be made larger... maybe you want more then one just send me a message,    I LOVE CUSTOM ORDERS!

I have always loved the idea of Monograms. To me monograms represent your family history,  your future,  your children and their children to come. They go way back in time and have now made a come back.  The ways one can display monograms are endless. They can be hung from ribbons in your wedding reception hall or anniversary party. They can hang in front of the bride and groom's table or on the bride and grooms chairs. Glittery Daze into Nights

She is my side kick...that is, Ms. Kitty, one of our cats.  We gladly took her off a woman's hands.  The woman did not like her much.....

Said she did not obey.....

 Said she would not stay on her post... when in the house.

 Said she did not like walking on a leash and was not trainable.

 Said she wasn't very loving nor friendly.....

Well...what I know is ...our days turn into nights...and she is right there with me. She loves my work bench...it's such a part of her now.  When I work she works...She so loves my Glitter Pan...But knows she can not play in it.  She loves my Spools of Ribbon...but knows she can only have the ones that I give her. After dinner we go on a family walk.  Now, that I have an empty nest...these days those walks consist of, The Hubby, two cats...and one dog.  People always look at us kinda funny before asking "are those your cats?"   I know ..its not everyday you see two people walking their dog and then have two cats prancing freely behind them...as happy as can be. Once back home ....Ms. Kitty and I work a little more into the wee morning hours, till we are full of a Glittery Daze...and off to bed we go....where she snuggles at my feet....till the alarm goes off,  for her favorite man to get up and go to work and she is right there with him. She sits at the bathroom door while he showers...then waits for him to dress ...then they both head on downstairs to make sure he gets his lunch and she gets her treats....off he goes...and she heads back upstairs and snuggles back up to my feet in hopes of catching a few more precious hours of sleep before we start our day all over again.....

Funny how love works.....

WELCOME HOME BABY

Just in time to help out a very busy ...."Mrs. Stork".... I now have Baby Banners in my shop!!!!   So Cute, and What a Fun way to Surprise Mom and Baby upon their arrival home from the Hospital, then to Celebrate with a " WELCOME HOME BABY BANNER."

When making my Banners...I use Natural Burlap..I  Hand Paint them using "Soy Paint"  Letters are also, Hand painted by me and then Glittered to add some Sparkle, but not to much that it makes a mess:) I then add some Spunky White Dots...for Extra Fun!!!! 

So, many fun ways to show off these Banners!!  They will look lovely Hanging on the Entry Door to the Home of the Newest Member of the family or Hanging from a Stand on the Front Porch next to a beautiful pot of Flowers... Banners can also be hung on Baby's Bedroom Door, personalized with Baby's Name, Pictured below...

Or try decorating the Baby Shower with them...I think one would look So Cute.... Hanging on the Stand next to the Baby Shower Cake...then given to the Mom to Be as a Gift:)  Don't you agree!!!!!!  If you would like a Banner...just click on my shop link on the right hand side of this blog and you will arrive at my shop:)

Winter Wonderland Wedding

While we are in the mist of Summer, here in Arizona...the temps range anywhere from 103 to 118....I have had the pleasure of working with a Bride on her "Winter Wonderland Wedding" planned for this December. Her colors are Silver, White, and a deep Azurite.  Her Bridesmaids are going to be wearing Azurite Colored Dresses...The table linens are going to be White and Silver with Silver Chairs....So, she wanted to go with these beautiful Azurite Table Numbers.......I think they are going to look stunning under the Event Lights!!!!

My other bride is having a very Elegant Wedding at the end of July. Her Mother wanted to surprise her daughter and future son n law with their  "Married Monogram"  at the Entry to the Reception Room, which happens to be in a beautiful London Castle. I think this is going to be such a beautiful surprise and what a keepsake for the new married couple....

the mother of the bride also ordered matching letters for her daughters "Candy Table"  choosing the saying  "Sweets."   The letters will be scattered amongst the different candy's and cake's that will be served at their reception.

Well, if it looks like I had fun with these orders...I did!  I can't wait to post  pictures from the Bride's, as I receive them...so make sure you check back in:)

Looking like a Crafty Work Room

OOOO, I'm Busy.    OOOO, the Mess!     So, I thought I would share it with you:)    Sound good? 

Well, here we go....This could be every girls dream!  That is if you are a crafty kind of girl.  I am..and,  I love it....Mess and all....

First up....

This first monogram can be made using His and Her's Initials or your can use your soon to be shared last name Initial, or all three... " kMc. "   All letters come with hooks on the back for hanging or on a stand and a choice of drifferent colors :)

 Next up....Celebrate you Special Day with a   "Hugs, Love and Kisses Banner".....String it up and share your love for the Day with,  X and O's ...:)  So Pretty and Fun ....boy does it Sparkle!!!

I think this Banner would look great hung anywhere at your Event...even in front of your Bride and Groom Table!!!   Again you choose the color :)

Its Wedding Season....
