DIY BURLAP FRAMED TABLE NUMBERS

Wow.. Wedding Seasons in full swing and I'm thrilled to say my Etsy Shop has been back logged with Custom Orders, which has been more then exciting... its a Hugh surprise not to mention tons of fun!!  Then here floats my neglected blog....hump.  Something always has to give..  Right?  Well, not tonight!  Might I add its 2AM in the morning...But, I'm here and checking in with another DIY Rustic Wedding Idea!

I just love, these Burlap Framed Table Numbers...

They look easy, don't you agree?  Just find your frames, cut your burlap and add your clear sticker table number ... Ta Da!!

So, the photo is from Pinterest. It did not come with a link, yet it does give credit to "The Creative Bag" which is a great wedding supply online shop. So, if you choose to not make the framed table numbers you've still scored because you're going to love The Creative Bag. They also sell the Burlap and the Clear Sticker Numbers used for the above tutorial.

So hop on over and check them out:)

Its great to be back...

SHRED THOSE T-SHIRTS

And Here's How....

1. Grab some t-shirts "does not work well with 100% Cotton" you don’t wear anymore. larger sizes tend to work better as do non-ribbed shirts with no side seams. small logos on the shirts work fine, too. 2. Grab a pair of fabric scissors if you have them, otherwise any scissors will do. 3. Lay the shirt out on a flat table in front of you. 4. Cut the hem off the bottom and put it aside. 5. Cut the shirt into 1-1 1/2 ” horizontal strips all the way up to the armpit. 6. Grab 3-4 shirt strips in both hands, and gently stretch them out. the strips will naturally curl into themselves. 7. Once you have done this with many of the strips, it is time to get creative. try draping them, wrapping one end with excess fabric, combining colors, braiding them, attaching beads, pins, old jewelry, etc.

Have fun!

Fabric Rosette Flower Tutorial

Those Pretty Rosette Flowers are showing up everywhere. So, I thought I would share some different ways they can be used and a simple DYI Tutorial I found over on  "Little Birdie Secrets." So before you head on over check out some of these ideas....they just might give you a few new ideas of your own!

1. Cover a lamp shade in your favorite fabric and add some rosettes
2. Decorate a sweet hand towel in your guest bathroom with a few small Rosette's
3. Next time you wrap a present for a friend..make a hair clip rosette and clip it on top of her present in place of the bow
4. Make some for your little girls Birthday Party Favors
5. Add a few to your favorite handbag
6. Make yourself a headband.
7. If you are soon to be married...make some for your Bridesmaids to wear in your wedding.
8. Make some for shoe clips.
9. Add some to a pretty wide ribbon and wear as a sash with one of your favorite A line dresses...

Well, that should get you started...and if your not in the mood but just have to have one....Stop by Christie's Etsy Shop   ...."The Little White Cat."  It's as cute as it sounds and she does custom orders...so if you have something special in mind....just ask:)

Hope everyone has an Amazing Weekend,
