This is the inaugural Share The Love day, a day for delicious. readers and others to share the results of their baking talents with neighbours, friends – even strangers.
It’s about spreading some much-needed good cheer, and fostering community spirit in the process.
To be part of Share The Love on the fourth Saturday of September – peak British apple season – just bake two apple crumbles instead of one. Keep one to eat and pass the other on to someone you don’t know, someone you wish you knew better or someone who needs cheering up.
